William Rocha Alves Junior, known in the artistic world as William Estudante, is a professional dancer, singer, songwriter, and international fitness instructor born in Salvador de Bahia, one of the beating hearts of Afro-Brazilian culture.

Gifted with a natural talent for rhythm and movement, William has built a brilliant career that blends dance, music, and high-energy stage performance, becoming a globally recognized and respected artist.

His music — infused with dembow, merengue de favela, Brazilian funk, and Latin rhythms — has taken over the fitness and Zumba scene, earning him an international following. Among his most popular tracks are “Dembow de Favela,” “Merengue de Favela,” “Arriba y Abajo,” “El Mundo Loco,” and the worldwide hit “Kamasutra do Brasil,” one of the most iconic and widely danced songs in fitness classes and events around the globe.
